In May, my brother Robbie married the beautiful "princess" (my girls think she is a real one)
Aleesha Lowry in Mesa, Arizona. The girls and I got to go out for the wedding, see my brother Scott's mission homecoming, and visit my Utah family. (More on that in an upcoming post)
Talk about a party!
Photos from the wedding festivities:
Abi-Kate looking mighty cute, if I may say so

My youngest brother, Scott... standing next to some freakishly pale person...

Natalie: my other cutie-
patootie

It was so wonderful to spend time with my incredible parents again. It had been a year! :)

Natalie, and her cousin, Brooke, waiting for the bride and groom. These two were best buddies.

The happy couple!
Aleesha looked just like a princess. We're so happy she's a part of our family!

The cake: Baked by Sister
Alldridge (
sp?) who works in the office with my parents, and decorated by my talented sister, Ashley, who took care of all the floral aspects for the wedding.

Receptions = lots of standing and smiling ;)
Abi thought Scott looked a bit underfed, I guess...

Natalie loved being with her awesome aunts, Angela and Amy, and their good friend, Jessica. She was literally in heaven with all the attention!

Good food, good times, and lots of family = bliss!
All these pictures (particularly those including my beautiful Italian-skinned new sister) lead me to one question: How come I'm the ONLY one who looks A.) vampire-esque B.) like I must be constantly sick/about to pass out to be so white or C.) like someone edited these photos to make me look like a ghost?

I was just comparing my skin to Emmy's the other day. We've been in the same amount of sun, and she's almost always slathered with sunscreen. And she's, by far, tanner than her ghostly mama. Hey! at least we won't be all raisiny and wrinkly when we're 50, right?! And skin cancer doesn't stand a chance. :)
Oh how I wish I could have been there! Congrats to Robbie and his seriously princess looking wife! You are seriously princess looking too my dearest cousin. I miss you! It was so fun to see a pic of your parents. I miss them too. It's been 3 years since I have seen them and at least 2 1/2 (right?) since I've seen you. That is WAY too long! Is your new town closer or further from TX? I have no idea, but oh how I miss you! Your little girlies are the squeeziest little things! I have never even met them. Major rip-off. I am sure I will be their favorite "aunt" if they ever get the chance to know me. This is a really long comment, so sorry about that, but I love you a lot! Have a fabulous day and good luck with your next new adventure! Your new house looks lovely! (not as lovely as you though).
