My baby (who won't be the baby much longer) turned THREE on December 30. It's a bit hard to believe. I currently serve in the Primary in our ward, and it was CRAZY to see little Abi sitting in the Sunbeam class, having just made the Jan. 1 cut-off to move up from Nursery.
BUT FIRST...
We got snow!!! It lasted for about 4 hours then melted away. The girls were in heaven playing outside.

We love the snow!
Okay... on to Abi's birthday pictures:
For Abi's birthday, we went to a gymnastics place called "Extreme Kids." They also open up the gym for kids to play with all kinds of fun things like ball pits, huge blow-up slides, trampolines, rope swings, etc. The girls loved this! We will definitely be going again.
Natalie thought the ball pit was pretty awesome.
Abi's a little bit happy about her current situation.
My red-eye reducer went a little overboard on this photo, but I wanted to show the foam block pit. The kids would swing out over this bit on a rope and just let go and fall into the super soft foam blocks. So fun!

Abi was probably the smallest patron to use the big slide... you can see her at the top of the line.

Abi loved the balance beam

Natalie was a little hesitant about the balance beam, but loved it so long as Daddy was holding her hand. She even did a "jump-spin" dismount on her own. :)

The little mountain goat, scaling the steep incline ladder up to the top of one of the slides.

Abi's favorites: The huge slides

Natalie's favorite: The rope swing

Abi's request this year: "A rainbow pony sprinkle cake."

Our special little 3 year old.
She was totally excited about the cake. She didn't even want a birthday dinner. She JUST wanted cake. She finally settled on scrambled eggs for dinner.... with nothing else. Ketchup. That's it. No sides, no anything. Eggs and ketchup. She wanted to move on quickly to bigger and better things...
She had to blow on those things like 50 times before she successfully snuffed 'em out.
Ahhhh... cake!

On a completely "other" note, here's one more attempt at a belly picture (taken today). I think my belly is camera shy, because I DEFINITELY look bigger in person!!!
